Michael K McGarrity – Executive Chaiman

Mr. McGarrity, who has more than 30 years of experience in the device and diagnostic healthcare industry. Michael spent 13 years with Stryker Corporation, where he served in leadership roles in marketing and strategic development, most recently including vice president of marketing for Stryker Instruments, a $1.0 B division of the Stryker Corporation.  

Rahul Bhansali – Director

Mr Bhansali is a Partner at the ICV VE Fund.  Previously, after completing a 4 year stint with an investment bank and finishing a Babson MBA, Rahul founded / co-founded 4 companies in organic food home delivery, physical commodity trade consulting, industrial safety technology, and accelerated venture investing. Recently, Mr. Bhansali was a leader with StrongArm Tech, where we deliver a machine learning / IoT technology that is shown to produce major savings for enterprise clients.

Donald Dye – Director

Donald is a C-Level executive and serial entrepreneur with an exceptional track record for creating enterprise value in mature and resource-constrained organizations. He was a managing director at both Morgan Stanley and Royal Bank of Canada holding senior capital market advisory positions in the US, Asia and Europe. Earlier he was employed with Ciba-Geigy AG in Basel Switzerland and Baxter Travenol in Deerfield, Illinois. He founded, architected and is board member of SkyLake Partners, a $50 Million real estate private equity firm based in New York.

Gary Magnant – Director

Currently CEO of Triple Sharp Venture Engineering, LLC. Co-Founder and former CEO of Thrive Bioscience, Inc., Sage Science, Inc., and Owl Scientific (now part of Thermo Fisher). Former VP of MJ Research (now Bio-Rad). Numerous patents and inventions. Numerous bioscience related board positions. Co-founder and former President of ActivBiotics (Lexington, MA) and ThermoCeramix (Montreal, Canada). Former Chairman, Trustee, Hallowell Awardee, of Stoneridge, a private Montessori school in Beverly, MA (now Harborlight-Stoneridge).

David Bertoni – CEO and President

Dave Bertoni is a strategic marketing professional with extensive senior management experience in multi-national corporate as well as startup environments. In the last 25-years he has brought over a dozen technical products to domestic and international markets, as well as forming and funding three high-tech startups. Mr. Bertoni founded a consulting firm, which assists medical technology and high tech firms to identify opportunities, establish clear goals, overcome difficult business challenges and achieve sales and margin targets, continuous innovation, and operational excellence.

Peter Rock – CFO

Mr. Rock is currently vice president of finance at Waveguide Corporation, the company raised $27M in their Series A financing in 2015. He has held various senior financial positions in biotechnology and technology companies. Peter has spent the last fifteen years as a contract CFO to various early stage companies and has held various board positions. In 2015, as CFO of Tarpon Biosystems, he sold the company assets to Pall Corporation. Peter was previously vice president and corporate controller of Dyax Corp. While at Dyax, Peter helped to secure $32 million in venture financing, and raise $69 million in their IPO.
