600 Wound Care Professionals Gather in Houston to Discuss the Latest Research on Pressure Ulcers and the Release of the 2019 Clinical Practice Guideline

Beverly – April 3, 2020 – Venture-backed medical technology development company, LeviSense Medical, Inc., joined the 600+ wound care professionals who attended the Annual Conference of the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP) in Houston, TX, March 27-28, 2020.

The attendees were presented the groundbreaking scientific research that lead to significant changes in the 2019 Guideline for Clinical Practice, updating the 2014 guidelines.  The guideline is the 400-plus-page reference used by wound care professionals to guide the treatment and prevention of pressure injuries.  The scientists whose work created the foundation of the new guidelines presented their work to a fascinated audience.
