Viglione, wound care specialist, to its advisory board. Richard Viglione, MD, was named the medical director of the Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital Wound Center in 2014. Prior to his position at Northwestern Lake Forest served at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, Ill. where he was director of the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Clinic.
Board certified in wound management, internal medicine and emergency medicine, Viglione received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School and completed his internship and residency at Cook County Hospital. He also completed a residency in internal medicine at Illinois Masonic Medical Center and a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Chicago, where he served as chief resident.
